David called me up at 7:00 in the morning on October 29 and told me there was a fire up where we were building his house near Jamestown on County Road 87J. He said the road had been closed off and people had been evacuated from the area. We couldn't get up there to work, so I decided to take a little road trip, to see what I could see. This is a view of the smoke at around 10:30 in the morning, from Broadway and Dartmouth in south Boulder. I was on my way to see where exactly all that smoke was coming from. Had Rastra Heaven turned into Rastra Hell?
